Mr. Jimmie Hardee , age 53, of Freeport, Florida passed away December 14, 2007 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was born August 6, 1954 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Floyd and Ruby Burnham Hardee.
Mr. Hardee was a lifelong resident of Walton County. He loved fishing, hunting and taking care of animals. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Mr. Hardee was preceded in death by his father and mother.
Mr. Hardee is survived by his wife of 13 years Donna Hardee of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; two sons Jonathan A. Hardee of DeFuniak Springs Jimmie L. Hardee Jr. of of Opp, Alabama; three daughters Sherrie Marler and husband John of Talladega, Alabama, Stephanie Merrick and husband Mark Owens of Panama City, Florida and Michelle Hutto and husband Danny of Opp, Alabama; one brother Floyd Hardee Jr. and wife Chris of Freeport, Florida; one sister Carolyn Warren and husband Chuck of Freeport, Florida; eight grandchildren Raymond Marler, Cody Marler, Kayla Marler, Sabastian Merrick, Ian Merrick, Tyler Owens, Michay Stinson and Brandon Stinson.
A time of visitation will be held 6:00~8:00 PM, Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20 Freeport, Florida 32439.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, with Dr. James White officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hatcher Cemetery. Pallbearers will be as follows Greg Warren, Matthew Hardee, Mark Hardee, Raymond Marler, John Marler and Mark Owens. Floral arrangements are being accepted.
