John Floyd McDaniel

Mr. John Floyd McDaniel, age 66, a resident of 21 Holcumb Road, Milton, died Friday morning at his residence. He was a native of Walton County, but had resided most of his life in Panama City, before moving to Milton four years ago. He was a member of the Ferris Hill Baptist Church in Milton.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday from the Limestone Baptist Church with Rev. Glen Spence officiating. Interment followed in Limestone Cemetery, with Comander Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maxine L. McDaniel, Milton, three daughters, Mrs. Vilene Alderman, Sneads, Fla., Miss Pamela McDaniel, Milton and Mrs. Marilyn Gibbons, Louisville, Kentucky, a son, Mr. Michael L. Duty, Milton, three brothers, Mr. Jay McDaniel, DeFuniak Springs, and Mr. Henry McDaniel and Mr. Jim Davis, both of Panama City, and four sisters, Mrs. Etta Burkett, Port St. Joe, Mrs. Ola Alford, Darlington, Mrs. Edith Wilkerson, DeFuniak Springs, and Mrs. Bonnie McMillan, Valdosta, Georgia. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Mrs. Janice Bryant, Greensboro, Fla., Mr. Joe Alderman and Mr. David Alderman, both of Sneads.
