John W. Williams

John W. Williams, 75, of the Morrison Springs community in South Holmes County, died Thursday afternoon at a local hospital after a long illiness.

He was a native of Calhoun County, Florida, and had resided in the Morrison Springs community since 1914.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the graveside in the Mount Zion Cemetery south of Westville, with Rev. Dallas Henderson officiating.

Mr. Williams is survived by two sons, Rudolph Williams of Morrison Springs and Burley Williams of Onancock, Va..; three dughters, Mrs. Paul Weimorts and Mrs. Edith Morris, both of Ponce de Leon, and Mrs. Juanita Bishop of Destin; two brothers, Newton Williams of Lake City and Wilford Williams of Jacksonville; two sisters, Mrs. J. H. Copeland and Mrs. J. W. Carroll, both of Jacksonville; 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
