Junior Gainey, 63, of Destin died early Saturday morning, March 30, 1991, in a Pensacola hospital.
Mr. Gainey was a native and lifelong resident of Walton County, and a member of the Destin Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a self-employed contractor. He was preceded in death by his son, Mickey Gainey.
Survivors include his wife, Eariine McCormick Gainey of Destin; his mother, Dollie Gainey Atwell of DeFuniak Springs; a son and daughter-in-law. Dale and Terri Gainey of Atlanta; a sister, Gracie Smith of Sanford; and four granddaughters, Brittney, Brooke, Hollye and Kelsey.
Services will be conducted 2 p.m., Monday in the funeral home with Minister Harold McCormick and Minister Jim Wylie officiating.
Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery.
