Kelly Marie Stanley, age 54, of DeFuniak Springs, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 7, 2022. She was born on March 12, 1968, in Pensacola, Florida. While we lost Kelly too soon, she lived this life fully. She was loud and opinionated, and greatly loved. She was the kind of mom who took in ‘stray kids’ and mothered them as her own; the list of survived children should rightfully be longer. Nothing made her happier or prouder than becoming a grandmother. At her heart of hearts, she was a family-centered woman. She is preceded in death by her father, Harold Odom, grandfather, Everett Odom, grandmothers, Lois Odom and Elizabeth Carrie Kelly, and nephew Daniel Odom. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Anthony Stanley; daughter Elizabeth Hammonds (Jacob) and son Dakota Stanley (Lauren); and three grandchildren, William and Alana Anderson, and Zakary Hammonds; her mother’s Catherine Odom and Colene Kelly Wilcox; three bother’s, Charles Odom (Ramona), Timothy Odom (Decie), and Christopher Odom; one sister Charity Odom; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and loved ones. A memorial service will be held at 10:30am Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Journey of Faith Church located at 7203 Pine Forest Rd., Pensacola, FL 32526. The family invites you to join them in celebrating Kelly’s life at a reception to follow.
