Funeral Services Held For Mrs. McBroom
Mrs. Laura Victoria McBroom, age 86, a resident of 112 19th Street, died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was a native of Oklahoma, but had made her home here for a number of years. She was a member of the Wesley Memorial Methodist Church.
Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday from the Comander Funeral Home Chapel with rev. Cary Richards officiating. Interment followed in the Magnolia Cemetery.
She is survived by four sons, Mr. Walter McBroom, Mr. Willie McBroom, and Mr. Curtis McBroom, all of DeFuniak Springs, and Mr. Roy McBroom of Portsmouth, Virginia. There are 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
