Lee Gilley

Lee Gilley, age 80, a resident of 1311 Lincoln Avenue, died Sunday morning in a Fort Walton Beach hospital following an extended illness. He was a native of Houston Couty, Alabama, but had resided the majority of his life in Walton County. He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday from the Comander Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. A. A. Castleberry officiating. Interment followed in the Magnolia Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Fannie D. Gilley, DeFuniak Springs; five daughters, Mrs. Ruby Lee Bodiford, Crawfordsville, Fla., Mr. Edna Simmons and Mrs. Doris Maraman, both of Fort Walton Beach, Mrs. Annie Lou Williams, Orange City, Fla., and Mrs. Marie Geoghagan, Florala; a son, Leonard F. Gilley, DeFuniak Springs, a brother, Warren Gilley, Montgomery, Alabama; three sisters, Mrs. Ada Elmore, Florala, Mrs. Ann Jowers, DeFuniak Springs, and Mrs. Mae Peterson, Greenville, Fla., 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
