Mr. Leonard Caswell, age 54, of Freeport, Florida passed away September 22, 2007 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was born August 14, 1953 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Harold and Billie Melvin Caswell.
Mr. Caswell was a resident of Freeport, Florida and he was Baptist by faith. He worked with Federal Express for several years, he also worked in painting and [maintenance]. He enjoyed riding horses, barrel racing, showing horses and also working as a blacksmith. He had received numerous trophies, belt buckles and awards for his horse shows.
Mr. Caswell was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Caswell is survived by his mother Billie Caswell of Freeport, Florida ; two daughters Daria Lynn Caswell and Megan Caswell both of Memphis, Tennessee; one brother Carlton “Peewee” Caswell and wife Sherry of Westville, Florida; two sisters Linda Sue Clanton and husband Jimmy and Glenda Ann Gressel and husband Mark all of Memphis, Tennessee.
A time of visitation will be held 6:00~8:00 PM, Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20 Freeport, Florida 32439. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, with Reverend Joel Glenn officiating. Burial will follow in Hatcher Cemetery. Floral arrangements are being accepted.
