Mrs. Lillie Mae Bishop, age 57, of Freeport, passed away Monday afternoon, March 22, in a local hospital. Mrs. Bishop was a native of Cuthbert, Georgia, and had been a resident of Freeport since 1936.
Survivors include her widower, Mr. Oliver Bishop of Freeport; two brothers, Woodrow Cumbie of Panama City, Florida and Lorey Cumbie of Jacksonville; two sisters, Mrs. Guy Caswell of Freeport and Mrs. A. N. Cox of Youngstown, Florida.
Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 Wednesday morning March 24, from the First Baptist Church of Freeport with Reverend Daucy Jacobs officiating. Burial followed in the Hatcher Cemetery.
