Mr. Mark Ward, age 47, of DeFuniak Springs passed away March 9, 2008. He was born September 28, 1960 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Arad and Waudine Rushing Ward.
Mark Ward had been a lifelong resident of Walton County. He was Methodist by faith and he attended the Red Bay United Methodist Church. He graduated from Walton High School in 1978. He attended the University of Florida. He was an avid Florida Gator Fan. He worked as a saw operator at Freeport Truss for over 16 years. He was a good friend to everyone, always helping those in need, especially the ladies at the Red Bay Store.
Mark Ward was preceded in death by his mother Waudine Rushing Ward and one brother Gary Ward.
Mark Ward is survived by his father Arad “Stanley” Ward of Red Bay, Florida, two brothers Randy Ward and wife Freida of Mary Esther, Florida and Arad J. Ward of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation services will be conducted at 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 14, 2008, at Red Bay Presbyterian Church, with Reverends Rodney Infinger, Mike McVay and Henry Martin officiating.
Burial will follow in the Red Bay Cemetery.
