Mary Anita Pugh

Mary Anita Pugh, 61, of Freeport, FL passed away Nov. 4, 2006 in DeFuniak Springs, FL. She was born Oct. 31, 1945 in Ennis, TX, to Charles and Jimmie Cline Page.

Pugh had been a resident of Freeport for the past 13 years. She enjoyed working and providing for her family. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Pugh was predeceased in death by her father and mother.

Pugh is survived by her husband, George Pugh, of Freeport; three sons, Eddie Poe and wife, Dana, of Chicago, IL, Mike Poe of Texas, and Matthew Poe of Freeport; two step-sons, Donald Penix and Jesse Irvine, both of Texas; one daughter, Wennona Fuller of Chicago, IL; two step-daughters, Barbara Kent and Kim Davis of Anchorage; one sister, Dorothy of Texas; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; also children by choice, Heather Carden and Shane McCullers of Freeport. Also survived by numerous friends and extended family.

Memorial services were conducted at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home, with Louis Taunton officiating.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
