McDaniel Edwards

McDaniel Edwards, age 37, a resident of Route 1, Ponce de Leon, died Sunday, April 11, in a Tuskegee, Alabama hospital. He was a native of Walton County, and a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday from the Comander Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Claude Sauls and Rev. Joe Rollins officiating. Interment followed in the Euchee Valley Cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Edwards, Ponce de Leon; two brothers, James F. Edwards and Mr. Leonard Edwards, both of Ponce de Leon, and eight sisters, Miss Jessie Pearl Edwards, Mrs. Maggie L. Day, Mrs. Tommy Simmons, and Mrs. Margaret Ann Edwards, Ponce de Leon, Mrs. James S. Heaton and Mrs. Curtis DeLoach, Panama City, Mrs. Cecil Johnson, Argyle, and Mrs. Doug Mercer, Donaldsonville, Georgia.
