Nancy Ann Hall Williamson passed away from this life on June 18, 2006, in Blountstown, FL.
Williamson was born in Mossy Head, FL, and married LT Williamson in 1936. After having their 3 children Williamson was called to preach and they spent the next 30 years serving Methodist churches in the AL/West FL conference.
After retiring the couple lived at Coden, AL for a number of years. Some years after Rev. Williamson’s death in 1990, Mrs. Williamson moved back to FL and once again became a member of the Wesley Memorial UM Church in DeFuniak Springs, FL, where their ministry began in the 1950s. Taking care of her family, working in the church, and helping others was what made her the happiest in life. She leaves many family and friends behind that loved her dearly.
Williamson is survived by her children, Joe Williamson and wife, Margaret, of Blountstown, FL, Larry Williamson and wife, June, of DeFuniak Springs, FL; daughter, Jan Zirlott and husband, Perry, of Coden, AL; one brother, TJ Hall; grandchildren, Terri Blair and husband, Mike, Brett Williamson, Kim Guimond and husband, Butch, and Chad Zirlott; great grandchildren, Lyndsi and Amy Williamson, Kristy Munson, Ashley and April Morrison, Payton Blair, Brittany Guimond, and Nicholas Zirlott; great-great-grandchild, Joel Fuller, and special niece, Norma Hall.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 19, 2006 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home, with Reverends Scott Hohn and David Wilson officiating.
Burial followed in the Magnolia Cemetery.
