Peggy Johnson

Mrs. Peggy Johnson, age 72, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away January 24, 2008. She was born February 10, 1935 in Ocoee, Florida to Willie and Frances Whitaker Pullens.

Mrs. Johnson had been a resident of Walton County. She was a member of Cornerstone Church in DeFuniak Springs. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 25 years, having worked with Wiregrass Hospital in Geneva, Alabama and retiring from Choctaw Valley Home Health Care Services. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, working for the Crisis Center and above all else witnessing for the Lord.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her father and mother, and her husband Howard Louie Johnson and one brother Gary Wayne Carroll.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her two sons Terry Lynn Johnson of DeFuniak Springs, Florida and Howard Douglas Johnson and wife Teresa of Prosperity, Florida; two daughters Sheila Frances Hand and husband Dannie Joe and Christine Yvonne Flanagan and husband Carl Everet all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; two sisters Joyce Palmer and husband Stanley of Montgomery, Alabama and Connie Caudill of Apopka, Florida; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held at 6:00~8:00 PM, Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Doyle Redwine officiating.

Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery.

Floral arrangements are being accepted.
