Prescott A. Timmons, 53, of 101 Bruce Ave., DeFuniak Springs, died Tuesday afternoon in Maxwell AFB Hospital in Montgomery, Ala.
Mr. Timmons was a native of San Luis Obispo, Calif., and was a retired USAF master sergeant. He had resided in DeFuniak Springs for the past six years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge of Redlands, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in East Baptist Church in DeFuniak Springs with Rev. J. A. Cornellson officiating.
Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Comander Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Johnnie Timmons; two sons, Duane Timmons and Charles Majors, all of DeFuniak Springs; and a brother, Herman Timmons of Albuquerque, N. Mex.
