Raymond L. Reeves

Raymond L. Reeves, 86, passed away November 23, 2006 in Chautauqua Health and Rehabilitation Center in DeFuniak Springs, FL. He was born November 9, 1920 in Montgomery, AL. Reeves has been a resident of DeFuniak Springs for over fifty years. He was retired from Civil Service. He was a member of Thorpe-Vest Sunday School Class and First United Methodist Church of DeFuniak Springs.

Among survivors are his wife of sixty-three years, Dorothy Reeves; daughters, Betty Larson and husband, Jeff, and Teri Clark and husband, Randy, of Niceville, FL; son, Chris Reeves of Fort Walton Beach. Three granddaughters and two great-granddaughters also survive.

Private funeral services were held November 24, 2006 in Jerry Evans Chapel with eulogy by E.D. Pinckard and music by Mary Pinckard. Interment followed in Magnolia Cemetery. Memorials may be sent in Reeves’ memory to First United Methodist Church, 88 West Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, FL, 32435.
