Mr. Roland Yaun, age 82, of DeFuniak Springs, passed away July 3, 2008. He was born on April 8, 1926 in Crystal River, Florida.
He was Presbyterian by faith and attended the First Presbyterian Church in DeFuniak Springs.
He was the first licensed Roofing Contractor in the State of Florida. He worked for many years in the DeFuniak Springs and Walton County area; having roofed many of the local businesses and homes. He was also an excellent father and was loved by all.
Mr. Yaun was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Evelyn Yaun and second wife, Viola Yaun, three brothers, Dewey Yaun, Porter Yaun and E. H. Yaun and one sister, Thelma Brent.
Mr. Yaun is survived by his two sons, Cleve Yaun and wife, Linda of DeFuniak Springs, FL and Tommy Yaun and his wife, Joann of Orlando, FL and one daughter, Clyde Marie Cronin and husband, Bob of Old Town, FL, six grandchildren, Randy Yaun and wife, Laura, Brian Yaun, Kenneth Reynolds, Michael Raulerson, Kathy Cotton and her husband, Michael and Vickie Champion and her husband, Jason and nine great grandchildren, Kristen, Matthew, Mercedes, Jessica, Rachel, Serena, Tiffani, Brent and Autumn.
Pallbearers will be Randy Yaun, Brian Yaun, Oliver Schley, Keith Hudson, Lewis Taylor and J. Scoriens.
Visitation services will be conducted at 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, July 4, 2008 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home, with Reverend Larry McGowan officiating.
Floral arrangements are being accepted. Burial will follow in the Euchee Valley Cemetery.
