Roy Shultz, 77 died in a Ft. Walton Beach hospital Friday morning.
Mr. Shultz was a native of Alabama. He had lived in Mary Esther for the last 19 years.
Funeral services were conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday in the McLaughlin Mortuary chapel with the Rev. Vernon Strickland officiating.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Carrie Shultz; two daughters, Mrs. Carrie S. Smith of Mary Ester and Mrs. Katheryn Clark of Greensboro; a son, William H. Shultz, of DeFuniak Springs, and eight grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Mr. Shultz was well-known in DeFuniak Springs as the owner of Superior Gas Company, which he sold when he retired in 1959.
