Ms. Sylvia Faye Kohls, age 67 , passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021. She was born February 13, 1954 in Gaskin, Florida to Earmon and Edwina Jackson Nobles.
Ms. Kohls was a resident of Gaskin, Florida. She was Baptist by faith. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and a friend to many. She worked as a school bus driver for the Walton County School District for 33 years. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers. She enjoyed spending time with family and she kept an immaculate home, and was very independent.
Ms. Kohls is preceded in death by her parents, who raised her, Etta and Albert Nobles and her sister, Linda Bartlett.
Ms. Kohls is survived by her children; Les Schofield of Gaskin, Florida and Sonia Lindsey of Freeport, Florida; brother, Robert Nobles and wife Leigh of Gaskin, Florida; sister, Barbara Johnson of Gulf Breeze, Florida; six grandchildren, Kirk Schofield, Chelsea Andrews, Levi Schofield, Hannah Umble and Ean Schofield and six great grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held from 5:00 -6:00 PM, Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Bobby Tucker officiating.
Flowers are being accepted.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
