Violet Mary Robinson

Violet Mary Robinson, 84, of DeFuniak Springs, FL, passed away Jan. 5, 2007 at her residence. She was born April 19, 1922 in Red Bay, FL to Kull and Elizabeth Mayhair McHenry.

Robinson had been a lifelong resident of Walton County. She was Presbyterian by faith. She enjoyed being surrounded by her children and her pets. She loved to take weekend drives and stopping by the Tasty Freeze for an afternoon milkshake.

Robinson was predeceased by her father and mother, and her husband Jack D. Robinson, son-in-law Leonarda Sternik, and eight siblings.

Robinson is survived by her three sons, Terry Jerome Robinson and wife, Carol, Earl Robinson and wife, Judy, and Jimmy Robinson, all of DeFuniak Springs; four daughters, Brenda Wilkinson and husband, Ronnie and Janice Sternik, both of Columbus, GA, Gloria Durden and husband, Bill, of Macon, GA and Margaret Ramos and husband, Nick, of DeFuniak Springs; twelve grandchildren Richard Brannon, Chris Brannon and wife, Amber, Lisa Eichner, Michael Robinson and wife, Mary, Chip Robinson, Joannie Burgess and husband, Chris, Christina Prins and husband, Scott, Lesley Sternik, Robin Thomaston and husband, Dog and Melissa Coppock, Nick Ramos III and wife, Sharon, Jerry Ramos and wife, Pam; 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by five step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, Jan. 8, 2007 at Clary-Glenn Funeral home, with Revs. Joel Glenn and Nancy Snyder officiating.

Burial followed in the Euchee Valley Cemetery.
