William Junior Dalton

Mr. William Dalton, age 75, of DeFuniak Springs passed away May 14, 2008. He was born January 14, 1933, in Floyd County, Virginia to Hosea and Miriam Shelton Dalton.

Mr. Dalton had been a resident of Walton County. He was Methodist by faith. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving his country in the United States Army and the United States Air Force before retiring as a Master Sergeant with over 22 years of service. He also worked as a mechanic with Civil Service at Tinker Air Force Base in Okalahoma. He was very active in the Moose Lodge and all the Veteran Activities. He enjoyed living at King Lake Campground and he also enjoyed fishing.

Mr. Dalton was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Dalton is survived by his two sons William Joseph Dalton and wife Alda of Sutherland Springs, Texas, and Jon Dalton and Kaylee of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, one daughter Glyndol Johnson and husband Ken of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, eight grandchildren Michael Dalton, Joseph Dalton, Darla Dalton, Amber Dalton, Lauren Fullwiler, Brent Fullwiler and Codi Lewis. And six great-grandchildren.

Visitation services will be conducted at 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, May 16, 2008, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Troy Hare officiating.

Burial will be held 10:15 AM, Monday, May 19, 2008, at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida, with Military Honors.
