Eloise D. Brown

Eloise D. Brown, 66, of DeFuniak Springs, FL passed away Aug. 16, 2006 in Pensacola, FL. She was born June 21, 1940 in Samson, AL to Malcolm and Winnie Nolen Davis.

Brown had been a resident of Walton County most of her life and had previously been a resident of Ponce de Leon, FL. She was Baptist by faith. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, traveling, fishing, gardening and she was an avid reader. She also enjoyed
collecting frogs.

Brown was predeceased by her father and mother, and one niece, Trish Newby.

Brown is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ruben Brown of DeFuniak Springs; daughters, Melissa Brown and Cindy Haber of Cantonment, FL; brother, Jerry Davis and wife, Denise, of DeFuniak Springs; seven sister-in-laws, Thelma McGough, Dorothy Brown, Evelyn Locquercio, Faye Thompson, Littie Mobley, Lottie Johnson, and Becky Miller; two brother-in-laws, Grady Brown and John Brown, of DeFuniak Springs, a special niece, Jona Trammell, and also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, Aug. 18, 2006 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home, with Reverends Sandy O’Steen and David Pettit officiating.

Burial followed in Lime Springs Cemetery.
