Euphemia Brooks Autry Bullard

DEATH OF MRS. A. F. BULLARD.

Mrs. A. F. Bullard died in Highsmith Hospital, this city, Sunday morning at 6 o’clock from an attack of acute leuchemia. Mrs. Bullard was before her marriage Miss Euphle Autry, daughter of the late W. W. and Emeline Autry, and was a woman of rare talents and much loved for her beautiful Christian character. She was born October 18, 1884, near Stedman, and was once a student at the Southern Presbyterian College at Red Springs, now Flora MacDonald College. She was married July 8, 1908, to Mr. A F. Bullard, and at the time of her death their home was at DeFuniak Springs. Fla., where Mr. Bullard is engaged in business.

Deceased was brought to the hospital September 2, where she received all the attention that could be given her, but nothing could be done to check the progress of the disease.

Mrs. Bullard leaves two children, Catherine Emeline, aged 7 years, and A. F., Jr., aged 13 months. Another, a little girl, Sarah Brooks, died some two or three years ago. Mr. Bullard has the sympathy of the entire community in this time of his bereavement.

The funeral was held Monday at 3 p. m. at Stedman, where she had spent her childhood days.
