Roberta Groover, 90, of DeFuniak Springs, FL, passed away Oct. 27, 2006 in DeFuniak Springs. She was born Nov. 3, 1915 in Hatley, GA to Robert and Anna Clack.
Groover had been a resident of Walton County since June of 2004 moving from Lake Placid, FL. She was Baptist by faith. She enjoyed painting and spending time with her family.
Groover was predeceased by her father and mother, and her husband, James William Groover, and a son, James Groover.
Groover is survived by one son, David Groover and wife, Olga, of Freeport, FL; four grandchildren, David Groover, Kelly Pittman , Timothy Groover and wife, Lettie, and Scott Rodney and wife, Patricia, and five great-grandchildren, Ryan, Brittney, Devon, Dylan, and Samantha.
Graveside services were conducted at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Placid. Eulogy by family.
