Fred Richard Hayden, 72, a resident of DeFuniak Springs, died Saturday morning [February 24, 1979] in a DeFuniak Springs hospital.
Mr. Haydan was a native of Augusta [Maine] and had been a resident of Oakwood Hills Community of Wal-lton County for the past nine years. He was a retired builder and was a member of the 50 Years Old Plus Club of DeFuniak Springs.
Mr. Hayden is survived by his wife Alcry C. Hayden of DeFuniak Springs; one daughter, Jane Hayden Kingsley of East Northport, N.Y.; one son, John Coryell Hayden of King George, Va.; and nine grandchildren.
The body is to be cremated. Memorial services will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Clary Funeral Home, DeFuniak Springs. Burial will follow at a later date in Maine. If desired, memorial contributions may be sent to the Waterville osteopathic hospital. Clary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
