Lena May Paul Norris

Lena May Paul Norris, born November 24, 1925, went to be home with her Lord and Saviour in heaven on Tuesday, January 10, 2006, at North Okaloosa Medical Center at 8:14 a.m.

She was Baptist by faith. She was born and raised in north Walton County. She traveled the World and was very [patriotic]. She lived in [Ponce] de Leon, FL, in Holmes County for the past 25 years before returning to Walton County, where she lived with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, William Howard Paul; father, Ed Adams; mother, Flora Adams; two sisters, Idell Linton and Ruby Adams, and brother, James Bud Adams.

Mrs. Norris is survived by son, John E- Paul and his wife, Pauline Paul; daughter, Linda J. King and husband, Donald King Sr; six grandchildren, Paula Morgan and husband, Ken, Michael Paul, Sheree Bruce and husband, Daniel, Shay Paul, Ashley Godwin and Joanie Paul; four great-grandchildren, Dustan G. Morgan, Logan G. Morgan, McKenzie Paige Morgan, Chayenne Bruce, two sisters, Elizabeth Karst and Avery Adams; three sisters-in-law, Evelyn Beal, Myrtle Jernigan, and Caroline Brown, and four step-grandchildren, Shelley Murray, Odon Murray, Chris Murray and Fredrick Cooper.

Mrs. Norris had a good soul and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to fish. Lena never met a stranger. She always brought out the best in people. She loved to crochet and make crafts. She will always be loved and missed dearly.

Funeral services were held Friday, January 13, 2006, at Evans Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Paxton Cemetery in Paxton, FL.
