Mrs. Margaret Doering, age 89, passed away on December 16, 2007 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was formerly of Lincoln, Nebraska, widow of John F. Doering. For the past five years she lived in DeFuniak Springs near her daughter. She was a kind, gentle person who had a smile for everyone. In addition to being a homemaker, she had a career with the Fayette County School system in Lexington, Kentucky.
Mrs. Doering was survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Patty Doering, grandson Craig Doering of Lincoln, Nebraska; daughter, Barbara Jones, DeFuniak Springs, Florida, and grandson Jay Jones of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. A special thanks to her caregiver and best friend Shirley Bruner of DeFuniak Springs.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 PM, Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th St., Lincoln Memorial Park, Lincoln, Nebraska.
Burial will follow in the Lincoln Park Memorial Cemetery.
