Margaret [Greene], 87, passed away Dec. 30, 2005 in Tallahassee, FL. She was born on sept. 24, 1918 in [Cook] County, ILL.
Greene had been a resident of Ponce de Leon, FL for the past 14 years moving from Tarpon Springs, FL. She worked as a nurse’s aid and as a caregiver. She loved animals and enjoyed watching ice skating. She loved music and especially loved listening to piano instrumentals. She loved her grandchildren.
Greene was preceded in death by her father and mother.
Greene is survived by her two daughters, Margaret J. Yohn of Ponce de Leon, and Joyce Doyle of Hurst, TX. She is also survived by six grandchildren; Vickie Doyle, Darla Doyle, Teresa Grant, Lisa Ann Yohn, Jean Wohlschleadger and Jeff Yohn, as well as five great-grandchildren, Bryan Isom, Nicholas Isom, Jesse Isom, Jennifer Grant and Kaleigh Yohn.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
