Perry Harvey Biddle

Mr. Perry Harvey Biddle, 99, of Pineview Lakes died Feb. 25, 1993, at home. Funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in DeFuniak Springs, Fla., with the Rev. Henry Mooney officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in DeFuniak Springs with Clary-Godwin Funeral Home in charge. Barron Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Mr. Biddle, a Presbyterian minister for 66 years, was a member of Harmony Presbytery of Presbyterian Church (USA) for 45 years. He served rural churches in Sumter County, Ala., Harnett County, N.C., and Sumter County. A World War I Army veteran, he was a member of Hamassah Shrine Temple, Manville Masonic Lodge, Bishopville Order of the Eastern Star in DeFuniak Springs. A 1923 graduate of Davidson College, he was a 1926 graduate of Union Theological Seminary in Richmond.

Survivors are his son, Perry Biddle Jr. of Nashville; daughter, Mrs. Stella Fitzgerald; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild.
