Robbie June Reeves, 65, of DeFuniak Springs, FL, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, at Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center. She was born on Jan. 23, 1940 in Pensacola, FL to Joseph Monrow Amerson and Minnie Pearl Paulk Amerson.
Reeves was a resident of Holmes and Walton counties most of her life. She was Seventh Day Adventist by faith and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in DeFuniak Springs, where she played the piano. She had been employed by Wal-Mart for the past eight years. She enjoyed working at Wal-Mart, spending time with her fellow associates and customers. She also enjoyed taking care of her mother.
Reeves was predeceased by her father and mother and her husband, Jim Reeves.
Reeves is survived by her two sons, Max M. Hoynacki and wife, Carma, of Carlsbad, CA, and Michael A. Hoynacki, of Denver, CO; daughter Linda J. Mayo and husband, Wayne, of Ponce de Leon, FL; sister, Janice J. Pyle, of Gulf Breeze, FL; five grandchildren, David, Adam, Sam, Melissa, and Sheena.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, in the chapel of Clary-Glenn Funeral Home, 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, with Pastor Martin Fancher officiating.
Burial followed in the New Ponce de Leon Cemetery.
