Mrs. Vera Boles, age 79, of Tarpon Springs, Florida passed away October 14, 2007 in Palm Harbor, Florida. She was born October 14, 1928 in Darlington, Florida to her father and mother, Dillard and Ruth Vann Burgess.
Mrs. Boles moved from Gaskin, Florida in 1949 to Tarpon Springs, Florida where she retired as a seamstress in the Sample Department of Pixie Playmates Factory, Inc. Vera also was a member of the Church of God in New Port Richey, Florida.
Mrs. Boles was preceded in death by her father and mother and loving husband, Robert Boles.
Mrs. Boles is survived by her two sons, Floyd Boles of New Port Richey, Florida and Robert Carlton Boles of Palm Harbor, Florida; one daughter, Janice B. Eckert of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; one brother, Max Burgess and one sister, Carrie Prior both of Darlington, Florida. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held at 6:00~8:00 PM, Thursday, October 18, 2007 at First Baptist Church of Liberty; 6775 US Highway 331 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 19, 2007 at First Baptist Church of Liberty with Reverend Joel Glenn officiating. Floral arrangements are being accepted. Burial will follow in the Eight Mile Cemetery in Gaskin, Florida.
