William A. Cuchens, 83, of Route 3, Freeport, died late Friday evening In a Fort Walton Beach hospital.
Mr. Cuchens was a native and lifelong resident of Walton County, a member of the Freeport Masonic Lodge 108, and attended the Damascus Baptist Church.
Survivors Include his wife, Marjory Cuchens of Freeport; four daughters, Olive Watson of Freeport, Marie Hansley of Leland, N.C.. and Wanda Stevens and Wynell Welch, both of Pensacola; four sons, William A. Cuchens Jr. of Pensacola, Roy E. Cuchens of Valparaiso, and Hubert E. Cuchens and Howard K. Cuchens, both of Freeport; two sisters, Evelyn Jones and Lorene Howell, both of Freeport; three brothers, Kyler W. Cuchens and Eugene Cuchens, both of Freeport, and V.H. Cuchens of De-Funiak Springs; and 12 grand-children and eight great-grand-children.
Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Damascus Baptist Church with Rev. Bill George and Rev. O.J. White officiating.
Burial will follow In the Hatcher Cemetery with Masonic rites at graveside.
The body will be placed In the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
