Barbara Jane “Kristina” Joyner

Mrs. Barbara Joyner, age 71, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away November 27, 2007. She was born January 22, 1936, in Long Beach, California.

Mrs. Joyner was a resident of DeFuniak Springs. She was Catholic by faith. She loved to cook for her family. She enjoyed sewing and shopping at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed her companionship with her dog Cooper.

Mrs. Joyner was preceded in death by her father and mother, one brother Louis Paez and one great-grandchild Thomas Michael Joyner.

Mrs. Joyner is survived by her husband James Joyner of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, three sons James E. Joyner, Thomas Jason Joyner and wife Calley and John R. Joyner and wife Kay all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, three daughters Patricia Joyner of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Judi Essig of Chicago, Illinois and Paula Trapp of Atlanta, Georgia, two brothers Emil Paez of Long Beach, California, and Steve Hernandez of Wilmington, California, three sisters Juliette Paskowitz of Dana Point, California, Emily Hopton of Long Beach, California and Virginia McQuarrie of Las Cruces, New Mexico, fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held at 6:00~8:00 PM, Friday, November 30, 2007, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home; 230 Park Avenue DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 1, 2007, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home, with Father Richard Dawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery. Those asked to serve as pallbearers are as James Joyner, Thomas Jason Joyner, John Joyner, Jason Joyner, Jacob Joyner, Justin Essig, Daniel Trapp and Mark Trapp. Floral arrangements are being accepted.
