Rocky Miller

Mr. Rocky Miller, age 48, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida went to be with our Lord on November 5, 2007, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He was born August 15, 1959, in Opp, Alabama to Grafton Orell and Lilly Corrine Miller.

Rocky was a resident of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and was Baptist by faith. He worked as a Car Salesman at Daimler Chrysler, with Civil Service in Japan, and he also worked as a Disc Jockey where he enjoyed his love for music. Rocky enjoyed traveling and surfing and he was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide football fan. He also loved his niece and nephews. He loved to tell jokes. Rocky struggled long and hard with his health.

Rocky was preceded in death by his father and maternal grandparents, Della Bowden and Loca Mae Cassiday.

Rocky is survived by maternal grandfather, Dudley Cassiday of Ponce De Leon, Florida; mother, Lilly Miller of Fort Walton Beach; one sister, Jo Ann Shaner and Fiance Phillip T. Woodard of Choctaw Beach, Florida; one niece, Layla Smith and husband Scott of Jacksonville, Florida and two nephews, Michael Joseph Shaner II of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Samuel Keith Rollins of Choctaw Beach, Florida; Aunt Shirley and Uncle Wilmer and lots of cousins.

Memorial services will be conducted at 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 10, 2007, at the Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home with Chaplin Buddy Duncan officiating. Floral arrangements are being accepted. Memorialization will be by cremation.
